Anyone else who would like to register will be given access if space permits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This registration is for both dates below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Module 1 (The Basics of Orthopaedic Basic Science) &#8211; Thursday, October 9, 2025 <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0a12\" class=\"has-inline-color\">(completed)<\/mark><br>Module 2 (Non-Neoplastic Conditions) &#8211; Thursday, April 16, 2026 <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ff0a12\" class=\"has-inline-color\">(completed)<\/mark><\/strong><br><strong>Module 3 (Orthopaedic biomechanics) &#8211; Thursday, October 22, 2026<\/strong><br><strong>Module 4 (Neoplastic Conditions) &#8211; Thursday, April 15, 202<\/strong>7<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please send an email directly to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:education@canorth.org\">education@canorth.org<\/a>&nbsp;to inquire.<br> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n\tWho Should Attend The COA Basic Science Course?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After surveying and meeting with the Program Directors, there was a unanimous acknowledgement of the importance of this course, and to incorporate it as part of their core curriculum for residency training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The COA Basic Science Course is designed for the &#8220;mature&#8221; orthopaedic resident (ideally midway through training, R3 and R4), but would also be of use for the orthopaedist who wants to return to the basic fundamentals of orthopaedic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ideally, you will develop the ability to conceptualize and understand all clinical problems at multiple levels &#8211; pathophysiology at the cellular level, gross morphology as reflected on the radiograph, and clinical presentation as assessed through history, physical examination, and laboratory parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This information is highly relevant to other disciplines including: pathology, radiology, rehabilitation medicine, rheumatology, and physiotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions please email <a href=\"mailto:education@canorth.org\">education@canorth.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Registration is Now Open!
